Living Body
"Living Body are THE most exciting thing happening in the UK music scene for me at present." - The Skinny

Recent single 'C.R.E.A.M.', released as part of Long Division festival's 2019 compilation
Living Body is the brainchild of Leeds-based Chicagoan Jeff T. Smith (f.k.a. Juffage) with collaborators Katie Harkin (Sky Larkin, Wild Beasts, Sleater-Kinney), Tom Evans (Vessels), Alice Rowan (Mayshe-Mayshe) & Sarah Statham (Esper Scout, Fig by Four). Expanding on the need for music to bring joy into the lives of others, Living Body aims to exist in a world of skin and information overload in 2019.
Stopping off at Hatch as the Sheffield date on their extensive summer 2019 tour, here's Living Body performing prime cuts from their 2016 album 'Body is Working' on their home turf:
"Body is Working is a fascinating curio of an album, and quite beautiful in its complexities." - God Is In the TV Zine
KITS

Kits (stylised KITS). Kit - noun - a small fur-bearing animal. KITS is the one-person sad-electro project of Jayson Turner, a computer scientist from Walney Island, currently living in Glasgow. KITS combines vocals, synths, and various bleepy boxes to create simple and meaningful songs ranging from the ecstatically positive to the devastatingly bleak.
Lou Terry

Experimental singer-songwriter/band-leader Lou Terry recently moved to Sheffield from London, and quickly formed a dynamic band who adeptly add colour and weight to the light/shade tension/release of his music.
"Sensational!" - John Cooper Clarke
